Herrera Llerandi Hospital was founded in 1963 as a non-profit Association of Medical Specialists. It is located in Guatemala City´s Medical District and has a total of 60 beds The hospital counts with 250 Specialists in the following areas.

The intensive care unit is equipped with the latest state of the art technology that allows the monitoring of each patient in real time and by telemetry. Herrera Llerandi´s laboratory was the first Central American lab to be accredited under ISO 15189-2003 and its nocosomial infection rate is lower than 2%, which compares favorably with those reported by hospitals in the U.S. and in other countries.
