FAQ
What are the benefits of anti-aging Stem cell therapies?
- Improvement of the cardiovascular system
- Boosting of the immune system
- Improved musculoskeletal system
- Anti-oxydation power
- Anti-stress function within the human cell
- Improvement of the cerebral & cortical functions
- Co-assist in the treatment of chronic and degenerative diseases.
The benefits will be noticeable within 2 to 3 weeks after the stem cell transplants. Patients can check this for themselves, based upon a renewed sense of wellbeing, they experience less fatigue and an overall better mood. Some of the tests regarding blood sugar and cholesterol will improve. Sick people should note that they are able to bring their sufferings under control. This procedure can be done up to 3 times a year, delivering even higher benefits.
How does such a stem cell transplant work?
The next morning or the day thereafter, the patient will enter the clinc/hospital where according to his preference, he will be given local sedation or anesthesia from the waist down.
Depending on the agreement between doctor and patient, stem cells are extracted from the patient´s peripheral blood or from his bone marrow, and sent to a specialized laboratory where it is processed.
There the blood is centrifuged in cold to separate the different components; the stem cells are being separated from the other cells and purified. Once separated, the stem cells are suspended in plasma, and ready to be injected.
In the meantime the patient can relax during the rest of the day and receive his meals. He is given an analgesic in case of pain but he remains conscious all along.
The procedure – whereby the stem cells are being re-injected intravenously – is like receiving a mini-blood transfusion and only lasts 35 to 45 minutes.
After the procedure the patient remains another 12 to 24 hours in the hospital to be monitored, in case of allergic reactions, which occur in only 2% to 3% of the patients. Since the stem cells come from the patient himself, there is no risk of rejection.
When the patient leaves the hospital, we recommend him to take one day of relaxation before boarding his flight to go home. All in all such a rejuvenation therapy takes only 4 days in Guatemala City.
Are there any complications involved with anti-aging stem cell therapies?
Is there an age limit for anti-aging stem cell therapies?
If a person is fit enough to fly to Guatemala, that person is a candidate for anti-aging, especially if that person suffers from underlying diseases like diabetes, high cholesterol or hypertension. A stem cell transplant will help those persons to better control their disease or improve their response to the disease.
What are the requisits prior to anti-aging stem cell therapies?
Is Stem cell therapy the same as cellular therapy?
The biggest problem with those cellular therapies is that they contain proteins and cells from other species, which are then prepared in a laboratory. All of these cells and derivatives of proteins with chemicals are sterilized and packaged into vials or pills, similar to any other medication.
The American Cancer Society has strongly advised people not to seek this so-called cellular therapies. Cells from the organs of one species cannot replace the cells from the organs of other species. When foreign proteins are injected, the immune system attacks them. In addition, injections of animal cells can spread viral disease and trigger severe allergic reactions. When taken orally, animal cells are digested and are not absorbed intact into the body
On the contrary, stem cell therapies are based on human cells, the stem cells are extracted from the patient’ s body or from a compatible donor, the re-injection process is almost instantaneous, without the use of chemical components or cells from animal origin, hence eliminating the risk of rejection or adverse reactions.
How are we aging?
Aging also sets in a number of diseases like arthritis, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, diabetes, heart complications, and even cancer. Most of them can be traced to deficiencies at the cellular level.
